Bathroom breaks are really heaven-sent. These are places of relief and comfort. You do your private business with no care in the world. Sometimes, it can even be considered as one of the safest places you can be in. But what if there's something inside your own personal throne? And it's not even a month's worth of grime. It's a wild animal.

Yes, you heard it right, this grandmother found a ferocious creature inside her toilet.

In an episode of Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, a local magazine television show, they retold the story of Mercedita Avila who found out that her toilet became the home of a python!

At first, Mercedita was just nervous about her toilet. She keeps hearing odd noises coming from the seat itself and the water seems to be moving around, regardless if she's doing anything or not. Her fear amplified when she re-watched Regal Films' "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" where they featured a sea creature, Undin, who lived inside toilets and remove anyone who stands in its way. What's more terrifying for the old woman was that she even found a lifeless rat floating about her toilet!

One day, the creature finally decided to reveal itself to the Avila household.

It turns out that the creature living inside her toilet for a long time was, thankfully, not the Undin. It's not some magical creature, too. It's actually a snake! But the problem was, it was to sneaky and stealthy for them to be able to capture it. They even believed that it only reveals itself to women! That resorted to the toilet becoming a female only bathroom just to lure the reptile out!

Fortunately, no one was doing their business when the snake decided to fully come out. They were able to successfully remove it from the toilet after getting help from neighbors. The whole affair was documented in a video. It was quite a long snake, with it's length of 6 feet. The snake wasn't harmed but was immediately brought to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center.

However, Mercedita's community became quite scared about going to the loo because of this incident. They fear that one day, another python will come out of their toilets. This time, Glenn Maguad, a veterinarian and wildlife rescuer from DENR told them about the current living conditions of our snakes. He said that the snakes now frequent estuaries or small creeks because it doesn't have much human traffic. He also advised the people to immediately call wildlife rescuers if ever such a case occurred again.
