There are a lot of amazing ways to remember someone who has already left for good. Some would create photo albums and some would name future kids or pets after the one who has gone. But this guy named Winston Howe took it to the next level with a kind of remembrance that will leave its mark not just in their family, but also the rest of the world.

You see, Janet was the love of Winston's existence. They were happily married for over 30 years, before the unfortunate thing happened. A medical condition took Janet away from Winston, but their love is forever immortalized with this memoir that Winston created. At first, it seemed to be very simple.

Shortly after Janet passed, Winston planted 6,000 oak plants in southwest England. This is very sweet in itself. Imagine, he actually went out of his way to make sure that his wife's legacy lives on. Through those trees planted in her memory, the world became a bit cleaner, a bit greener.

However, the actual surprise was discovered only 17 years after he planted those oak trees. Of course, all those huge, beautiful trees are all grown up now, and the secret is finally out of the bag. Another man named Andy Collett was flying on his hot-air balloon one day, and he happened to fly over the acre of land where Winston planted those oak trees.

Amazed by what he saw, Winston snapped some photos and shared them on social media, where they quickly went viral. Here's one of those photos:

Apparently, Winston designed the way he planted those oak tres, so that they would form the most perfect, heart-shaped meadow in the middle! We haven't seen anything quite like it, and we could only fathom just how much Winston loved his late wife for him to make the effort to make something like this!

Worry not, Winston. Janet will be forever remembered, thanks to this lovely surprise of yours. Surely, she is smiling down from heaven, irrevocably in love with the meadow you have created for her.
