They say that "a teleserye without Albert Martinez is not a teleserye". That is to say the least for the Kapamilya Network.

If you haven't noticed it yet, Albert Martinez seems to be ever present in every ABS-CBN drama in this contemporary time, regardless if it's in the afternoon time slot or during prime time!

In recent memory, this veteran actor has been part of seven teleseryes from ABS-CBN.

He was Dr. Manuel Figueras in "All of Me". He became the main antagonist for "Ang Probinsyano". He appeared on both "La Luna Sangre" and "The Good Son" in 2017. He was also Agos in the 2018 fantaserye "Bagani". He was the handsome Robert Mondaragon in"Kadenang Ginto". And now, he is Marcial De Leon of "The General's Daughter".

Netizens were quick to pick up on this. They started pointing out that he is, in fact, there in every teleserye of ABS-CBN in recent memory. He was already dubbed as the "Teleserye King". One article even joked that he can also get the "Suking Tatay" award for TV.

Well who can blame them? In his current role, Albert Martinez is General Marcial De Leon, the strict father of Angel Locsin in "The General's Daughter". He even has one of the titular roles! He's literally THE general from the show.

Kidding aside, his consecutive projects with the Kapamilya network proves that Albert Martinez is one fine actor. He can play virtually any role thrown at him at any time, without getting problems with his characterization and getting things mixed up.

Memorizing lines is also no easy task. Albert Martinez proves that he is a professional actor who has improved his craft so much that he is already the first choice when it comes to roles like these.

Suffice to say, we can't wait for another perfect portrayal of Albert Martinez. But, don't go yet because we need to finish watching "The General's Daughter", first.
