If you remember, Catriona Gray and this year's Miss South Africa had such a beautiful moment minutes before the winner was announced. It appeared that the two were exchanging quick words before the moment of truth.

Ever since that day, netizens have been wondering what they were talking about in a glimmering moment like that.

Catriona has since been busy taking on different roles after her historic win for the Philippines, so no one really got the opportunity to ask her immediately about those words.

However, Queen Cat has finally come home, and our reporters finally got the chance to ask her the million-dollar-question.

 And we were right. It wasn't a nasty exchange of two competitors trying to bring each other down. As a matter of fact, the two traded compliments and sweet words-- a perfect example of unitedness in the midst of divisiveness.

The beautiful Bicolana started by describing what it felt to be in that moment.

"Just to describe that moment, it was really crazy because imagine that this whole how many months [the] girls prepared [for the competition] comes to that moment when it’s [already] the top 2,” she said.

“Kind of get locked up into your own world because the spotlight comes on and it’s almost just me and Tamaryn - which is Miss South Africa."

Apparently, Catriona took it as an opportunity to uplift her fellow queen.

Our beautiful Miss Universe again made us proud with her gracefulness! Apparently, this is what she told Miss South Africa:

"I am so happy to be here with you. I know you'd do amazing whatever happens.
