Talagang Nakakabilib ang Kwento ng Basurerong ito na Nakapagpatapos ng Kanyang Anak sa Kolehiyo!

You would think that it's impossible for someone in deep poverty to finish college. But some extraordinary stories of luck and hard work prove that it's possible to achieve your goals.

Just like the story of Tatay Cristito Quimado, who's making rounds on social media after GMA Public affairs was able to pick up his life story.

Cristito Quimado is a 51-year-old garbage collector. His only dream in life is to be able to send all his kids to college.

He wakes up day in and day out at exactly 3:00 AM to get to work. Not everyone has the stomach to bear such tasks but Tatay Cristito does everything he can to support his family.

Lucky for him, his eldest daughter , Jenny Rose, recently graduated from college. And what a proud father he is!

Jenny is equally proud of his father's dedication. Whenever she was asked what her father's work is, she would never hesitate to reply: "Basurero" or garbage collector.

When asked about this she said:

"Proud ako kasi napagtapos niya ako sa pagbabasura niya and alam kong mapapagtapos niya rin ang mga kapatid ko."

She further said that:

"Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Diyos kasi siya yung naging tatay ko. Kasi hindi naman po masama iyong trabaho niya at marangal po siya, kahit maliit po iyong kinikita niya, at least wala po siyang ginagawang masama."

The proud father has more ways to go-- 4 to be exact. But his dedication never wavers.

"Sa awa ng Diyos, isa na ang napatapos ko. Apat pa. Hanggang malakas ako, pipilitin kong makatapos sila. Iyong pag-aaral nila, hindi ko pinababayaan kasi iyon lang ang ano [maibibigay] ko sa kanila, makatapos sila," Tatay Cristito said.

Well, we have no doubts that Tatay Cristito will be able to fulfill his dreams for his kids, especially now that Jenny Rose has finished college and can help in their home. Education truly is a treasure that lasts forever and Jenny Rose is fortunate to have a hardworking dad like Tatay Cristito.
