Panoorin ang Nakakamanghang Water Birth ni Kylie Padilla

It was 4th of August 2017 when Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica welcomed baby Alas Joaquin into their lives. Everybody was delighted to see the arrival of this bouncing baby boy, but nothing beats the happiness of the new mother. Today, let's take a look back at Kylie's journey while giving birth to baby Alas.

Even before her due date, the Kapuso actress already prepared a birth plan. According to a report published in GMA News, Kylie chose a natural water birth for her son. In this process, she is supposed to deliver in a tub of warm water free from anesthesia or medicine.

Although water birth considerably gives more relief to mothers, it still is a painful experience. Fortunately for Kylie, her close friends and family were present to give support during this arduous moment. Her then-boyfriend, Aljure Abrenica, and Mariel Padilla stood by Kylie's side throughout her childbirth.

However, in the middle of her labor, Kylie encountered troubles in dilation. Later on, she agreed to resort to medicated normal birth. "I had decided I was going to have a natural birthing experience with the help of a water bath, also called a water birth. I had to think about the next best thing. For me and my baby. So I agreed to medicated vaginal birth."

One of her friends who were with her during the process expressed her admiration to Kylie. According to Garleen Rae on Instagram, both Kylie and Aljur remained strong and unwavering throughout baby Alas' birthing process:

"Congratulations to you and to AJ. Nakakaproud kayong dalawa, I have so much respect for both of you, for AJ's great sacrifices and to you Kylie, for braving it all. Ang tapang mo, patuloy mo kaming napapabilib. "
