See, this hardworking dad cannot simply get a 9-5 job, because he has to keep an eye on his baby 24/7. This is because the little one has a medical issue-- the same reason this guy has been desperate to raise funds selling banana cake.

The child's mother, Jenny Sumalpong, has explained the whole thing on her Facebook. Apparently, Baby Aki actually needs a new liver. However, the procedure would set the family back 1.6 Million Pesos! Now, they are a simple family who doesn't have that much money. So now you see how difficult it is to alternate looking after the baby and making sure he gets the money for hospital bills, right?

This is why the family is imploring anyone who comes by their posts to assist them in funding this angel's medical needs. After all, this dad is just selling his banana cakes at an affordable price of P120 each.

So far, the family has already raised P120,000. It's a start, but we have to remember that the family is racing against time. Why? It's because doctors need to operate on Baby Aki before he reaches one year old. Otherwise, he wouldn't even get the chance to turn 2!
