Nagbuhos ang Lalaking ito ng Napakainit na Lava sa Pool, At Laking Gulat Niya Nang Mangyari Ito!

The world is filled with wonders and beauty not just because of man, but because of nature's work. There are things that we certainly do not understand, things lay hidden deep in the waters or underground. Some of these wonders suddenly decide to come up to the surface to be feared, captured, or envied by man.

One of these wonders would have to be lava. Both adored and feared, lava technically molten rock from underneath the Earth. It's glow make it look stunning, but we must be wary of its heat. Have you ever wondered what it looks like up close? Have you ever though about how it would react to certain substance and even to your skin?

Well, Backyard Scientist has us covered!

They did a little experiment on lava and documented the whole thing on their YouTube Channel. The video now has currently over 200,000 views!

The first thing they did was acquire some lava rocks and ignite their crucible. Backyard Scientist said that the lava rocks themselves can heat up to about 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit! At first, their flame was too cold so they tried for a second time around.

Then it was time. They poured hot lava into a pool to see the reaction of lava to water and if it would sink or float. They tested the consistency of the lava first and it was indeed molten and, of course, piping hot!

When they poured the lava onto the pool surface, ti began to sizzle and steam! The lava turned into solid ash and stayed in the pool floor.

Backyard Scientist also did another round where he placed a piece of chicken in lava to see what it's effect would be on flesh. And lastly, they tried pouring it into plastic, aluminum, and glass to see how it would affect different materials.
