Love moves in mysterious ways. We don't always know when or where Cupid will strike. We've all heard about high school sweethearts or couples that lived happily ever after since meeting each other in college. But what if you found "The One" in school, somewhere you least expect it

That's what happened to a young Vinda Virginia who found the love of her life when she was only 13 years old. You'd think that she's lucky to have found love at a very young age, but the problem is, she fell in love not with one of her schoolmates, but with her teacher!

Yes you heard it right! Vinda Virginia and Erwin Pangaila fell in love with each other when the former was the latter's student at a local high school in Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia.

Erwin was single at that time and was rather famous with his students. A lot of his students had a crush on him and some thought of ways on how to make him notice them. However, most of them just had a crush on him, no one was as smitten by him as Virginia, who believed that he was "The One".

At first, Erwin took no notice of Virginia, since he really did understand their wide age gap, but the girl was insistent. She would stay longer in school just to be with him. She'd even ask for help with her homework despite actually knowing the answers. And her hard work paid off!

At 13, Vinda Virginia had a relationship with her 27-year-old high school teacher, Erwin.

Erwin would be her date in her prom, and college only proved to make their relationship stronger! After all, since graduating high school, the two are free to date without anyone judging their love.

After 7 long years, Erwin and Vinda finally married. There are still those who still frown at the fact that they formerly  had a teacher-student relationship, but there are some who praise their dedication in facing all the challenges and eventually proved to everyone that love wins.
