I think we've all dreamed of lying in a bed of roses. But others are more practical and dream of lying in a bed of money.

Well that has become a reality for the Mendoza Family.

The Mendoza family suddenly became famous online after Abby Sarmiento Mendoza shared to Facebook photos of their two beds filled with cash. One bed was filled with bills ranging from twenty peso bills up to a thousand pesos! The other bed was filled with coins. I think we can all agree what the better bed is.

Kidding aside, Abby shared how they got into the habit of saving. Instead of piggybanks, their family placed their savings inside a glass container, just like the ones used in ticket selling. It's transparent and very spacious to put enough money to fill two beds.

Aside from the ginormous piggy bank, Abby also said that the drawings of plans and planes have encouraged each member of the family to pitch in. They were all so eager to go to their dream destination or their dream vacation as a family!

Well, they proved that in unity there is strength! After a year and a few months of saving, they finally opened up their literal pot of gold! There was so many cash inside the container that they had to sort the money on two beds! How crazy is that?

Their discipline and dedication to this family-sized Ipon Challenge is commendable! Abby might still be counting their savings along with the rest of the family. Her family's story is inspiring in many aspects-- a story worth emulating.
