Ang galing! Nailigtas ng Bibliya ang binatilyong ito na 49 days nang palutang-lutang sa dagat!

Sometimes in life, God sends challenges our way to see whether or not we could keep our faith. Times like this, it's always important to recall The Lord's promises of salvation. We may not know exactly the reason behind the problems given to us, but we must never forget that He does have a plan.

Luckily, this 19-year-old Indonesian did not forget God's teachings throughout this difficult ordeal that he had to undergo.

Aldi Adilang worked in the sea, safekeeping lamps in fish traps. While going about his daily tasks one day, a strong wave crashed against Adilang and his fish traps! Caught unaware, he was unable to easily regain his bearings, and he ended up being washed far away from the shore.

Soon enough, his fish trap ended up in Guam, even going across the Pacific. He spent 7 days in the water like this, without food or fresh water. He really did not think he could make it.

Adilang revealed that he even considered just letting go and letting God take his life. Still, he could not stop thinking about his parents, the dreams they have for him, and the dreams he had for them. He decided to hold on.

When all hope of rescue and survival got lost, Adilang remembered that he had a Bible in his fish trap. Without anything left to do, he left everything to God and just reacquainted himself with His word.

Shortly after doing this, the impossible happened. A huge ship spotted Adilang in the sea, and luckily they were able to rescue him! It was an unbelievable moment for the man, who incredibly survived 49 days in the big, scary, open sea.

To this day, Adilang is convinced it was his faith and trust on the Bible that prompted God to send that ship his way.
