That's what happened to young Alex Jazz, the son of StarStruck alumna Jennylyn Mercado and former matinee idol Patrick Garcia.
This dashing boy was born on August 16, 2008 therefore making him almost 11 years old today!
After Jennylyn Mercado and Patrick Garcia's separation, Alex Jazz was in the primary care of his mother, Jennylyn.
But that didn't prevent his dad to be with him at times.
After their break up, Patrick Garcia wed to Nikka Martinez, a businesswoman. He now has 3 children with Nikka: Michelle, Patrice, and Pia.
Meanwhile, Jennylyn is perfectly happy with now long-time partner, Dennis Trillo who is also an actor for GMA 7.
